Hütterott Mini Museum
The Mini Museum is a forester's lodge located at the main gate in the Golden Cape forest park. It is dedicated to the Hutterot family that owned the forest park at the end of the 19th century. The Austrian baron Georg Hütterott bought four islands and some land around Rovinj and planted various Mediterranean and exotic plant species. His wish was to build a climate resort called „Cap Aureo“. Baron Hütterott is considered to be one of the most responsable people for the development of tourism in Rovinj.
In the forester's lodge you can also rent a bike or organize climbing courses at the Montauro cape. There is also a possibility to join one of the bike tours to the Palud Ornithological Reserve.
